His Story
Having been named top ten player in UK for over 5 years, I’ve seen how the basketball industry has become terrible at providing avenues for untapped players who are equally good but often more skilled than people in the mainstream, fixating instead on one route to a professional career which is not accessible to the majority.
I decided to put my real-life experience of creative industries to good use and set up 1on1 King, a framework for untapped basketball players to finally earn some serious money in acknowledgment for their skill. My knowledge of the industry, the journey I've been on throughout my career and first hand experience of knowing what a baller wants makes Appollo one of best people to offer a platform that allows undiscovered players' to gain social and financial recognition for their ability.
